Safety in the Time of COVID-19
Updated: Jun 16, 2020
Dear Friends –
We are set to reopen Fair Winds on June 20th while also developing a cleaning and sanitation plan; providing a framework for how yoga classes will incorporate social distancing; purchasing materials and cleaning supplies to comply with State Executive Orders and CDC Guidelines, and then incorporating new operations and safety procedures for our associates and visitors. While we began working several weeks ago on these preparations, the plan will continue to evolve with safety being a top priority while also offering much needed services that contribute to and enhance the health and well-being of our community.
Center-wide
All door handles and other touched surfaces are wiped down with anti-bacterial solution prior to every class
Guests will wear face coverings when entering or exiting the facility and when interacting with employees or other guests. When exercising, guests are encouraged to wear face coverings if able to do so safely. If wearing a face covering safely is not possible, guests should increase the distance between themselves and other guests as much as possible.
Everyone that enters will be asked to wash their hands/use hand sanitizer as soon as they step in the door.
We are utilizing UV Sterilization units, center-wide air purifier and have replaced all the HVAC filters with anti-microbial filters as an extra layer of precaution.
Acupuncture – effective May 15, 2020
For your safety:
I will be wearing appropriate face coverings in the form of face shield and/or mask for the duration of all appointments. You will be asked to do the same.
Everyone that enters will be asked to wash their hands as soon as they step in the door.
Acupuncture appointments will be scheduled by appointment only.
Additional family members may not wait in the facility.
Ample time will be scheduled before and after appointments and will be utilized to change linens, wipe surfaces and door knobs with approved virus-killing cleaners.
If, for any reason I don’t feel well, I will always err on the side of caution and cancel all appointments for that day, please do the same for me.
Patients who are in highly vulnerable populations are asked to postpone treatments for the time being.
Patients that have been exposed to the virus, have been advised to quarantine for 14 days and/or live with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 are asked to postpone treatments at this time.
We are utilizing UV Sterilization Air Purifiers in the treatment rooms and an office-wide air purifier as an extra layer of precaution.
The cancellation policy is without penalty. Please do not hesitate to cancel or reschedule at any time.
Because of the evidence of blood clots in asymptomatic COVID-19 patients, cupping therapy is contraindicated and suspended until further notice.
